The Companion+ Mobile Safety app is powered by Sfara.
The Sfara software uses the sensors in smartphones to determine potential crash events. The detection technology contains two layers of Artificial Intelligence (AI) that perform different functions.
The first AI layer looks for patterns in the smartphone sensor data that are attributes of a potential impact. When the AI detects these attributes, it signals a potential impact notice that is sent to the second layer of AI for additional, instantaneous processing.
The second layer performs false positive suppression. All of this crash technology runs natively on the phone, increasing privacy and decreasing data consumption and battery power.
