The Companion+ Mobile Safety app is powered by Sfara.
Although Sfara's Data Science Team has executed over 2,500 crashes in the field and test facilities, in some circumstances, the app may make a false positive detection of a crash event.
Sfara's artificial intelligence (A.I.) is designed to learn from these false positives to distinguish them from actual events over time.
Tell us it's happened
If a false positive crash has happened, we recommend that you let us know. This will help the A.I. learn and aim to prevent this from happening again.
Share as much information as you can with us on what you were doing when the false positive was detected so that we can pass that information on to Sfara's Data Science Team.
Examples of information to shared includes:
- Day/time of false positive
- Road type (i.e. dirt road, highway, driveway, bridge, tunnel, etc.)
- Location of phone (i.e. cup holder, passenger seat, purse etc.)
- Any events around the time of the false positive crash (i.e. hard brake, swerve, etc).
